About
Dr. Aubrey Verdun is the Founder and Medical Director of Freedom Ketamine Infusion Centers, and a double-board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician. He completed his medical training, including a Pain Management Fellowship, at prestigious institutions like Johns Hopkins University and The University of Chicago Hospital.
Currently, Dr. Verdun is involved with the Wounded Warrior Pain Care Initiative at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). He has extensive experience in the use of ketamine, having helped develop and maintain outpatient ketamine infusion protocols for patients with depression and chronic pain.
Dr. Verdun strongly believes that ketamine is most effective long term when coupled with psychotherapy. Inspired by the 'truly amazing' and rapid life-changing impact he has witnessed from ketamine treatments—especially in severe cases such as catatonic depression—he founded the Freedom Depression Treatment Center.
